Birth Doula Support: $1800

Helping your family prepare for labor and delivery

• 24/7 Support: from the time of hire, you’ll have access to us via text, phone call, and email to discuss any questions or concerns you may have. Beginning at 37 weeks, we’ll be on-call around the clock so that we’re ready when it’s time.

• Planning Your Ideal Birth Meeting: at 30 weeks, we’ll meet to discuss your preferences and the pros and cons of your options. Together we’ll create a written birth plan that lays out your hopes and boundaries for labor and delivery.

• Getting Ready for Labor Meeting: at 37 weeks, we’ll meet for a pre-birth check-in to talk about any fears that may have come up and plan for the logistics of your labor.

• Postpartum Check-In Meeting: after labor and delivery, we’ll meet to discuss how you felt about your experience, review additional resources, assess your comfort with feeding, and discuss your options for ongoing support.

Postpartum Doula Support: $45/hour

Helping your family adjust to life with your new baby

Personal care for baby, parents, and other family members scheduled at your convenience. Personal care can include childcare, cooking, laundry, light cleaning, overnight care, emotional support, or other individualized needs. This includes care post-adoption.

Birth Pool Rental: $150

Helping you relax during your home birth

Birth pools can bring an element of comfort during home births. The Doula Duo currently has one La Bassine Birth pool available for clients and non-clients. Rental includes tub delivery, disposable liner, and full kit to inflate, fill, and empty the pool. Delivery available for an extra fee.

Lactation Counseling: $50/visit

(virtual lactation visit: $40/visit)

Helping you feed your baby with joy and ease

We’ll meet to discuss your goals and concerns regarding lactation, discuss the birth/medical history as pertains to breastfeeding, weigh baby before and after feeding with an infant scale, evaluate latch and positioning, answer your questions, and refer to providers in our area. Each visit is typically 1 hour.

Birth Plan Support: $100

Helping you create a plan

We’ll meet to discuss your preferences and the pros and cons of your options. Together we’ll create a written birth plan that lays out your hopes and boundaries for labor and delivery. This does NOT include in person labor support.
